DESCRIPTION:Cars and Caves car shows run from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Drive your collector\, classic or exotic car or motorcycle in to display. Get here early for limited on-site parking with your family car. Coffee and food are available. \nCars and Caves Car Show to raise money for Ronald McDonald House   \nWhen a child’s health is at risk\, a family’s world can feel like it’s falling apart. That’s why the Chanhassen AutoPlex has teamed up with Ronald McDonald House Charities  to host a FUN raiser Saturday\, August 25\, 8a.m. to 12p.m. to benefit families with seriously ill children. \n“By capitalizing on the popularity of our car shows\, I believe we can help alleviate the financial burden and stress for many Twin Cities families\,” said show Committee Chair Tony Mertes. \nOne hundred percent of proceeds from The Cars and Caves Show will go immediately to serving families supported by one of the four Ronald McDonald House Twin Cities locations. \n“Our free show is a favorite among locals and Southwest Metro visitors with its open-air setting and casual ambience\,” said Elaine Wilson\, Chanhassen AutoPlex community relations. “Bring your show car and your family and friends for a memorable car lovers’ get together supporting a good cause.” \nShow car owners and spectators are encouraged to  park on site and view hundreds of unique muscle\, exotic\, classic\, custom and antique cars from the area together in one place.” \nBesides music\, prizes\, food for purchase\, games and photos with Batman or Scooby Doo\, the public is invited to tour some of the lavish garage condos on site. \nPress Release: Press Release_Aug25 show_RMHC \n
